I will be supplying Keyboard, Mouse, Desktop and OS. What I would like from you guys is your thoughts on this spec? Did I miss anything?

Also, I can afford this. But I would rather it were closer to a £1000. What I need from this computer is one that can render videos, handle game design and handle high setting gaming.

Yeah, thats not right..

You can do a lot better.

Do you really need a blu-ray? Its a lot of money just 'because'?

Is a sound card needed too, Motherboards on-board sound is excellent now-a-days.

This is more than enough:

Do you really need to spend 300 quid on a motherboard ?

300 quid for me is the cross over boundary between upping to 2011

//edit buy a new SSD preferably Samsung

It did feel a little strange. I based my build off of the Overclockers "Spectra R1 Extreme" Intel Core i7 4770K @ 4.4GHz Overclocked Haswell Gaming PC Bundle".

Sure I can take dvd over blueray.

That's a nice spec. This will be the first time I am building a pc. Will I need to buy cables and other things?

The Seasonic above is fine etc, but The EVGA is great, made by Superflower with a huge warranty.
