The tech demo is standalone, and you should definitely give it a try yourself. I tested it on a relatively weak rig and it ran smoothly in both DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 versions, although the DirectX 12 variant seemed to run better. The lighting and reflection effects are particularly interesting, especially in first-person mode when the weapon reflects the surrounding environment. Make sure to download CryZENx’s tech demo from here and let us know how it runs on your system.

Download from here

Going out soon but thought some of you might like it.

I got a download agreement "FreeGamesZone" for celebrity gossip and news etc... on first click ! Cancelled and clicked download second time and demo now downloading

It runs smooth as butter, is there anyway to test the resolution? It seems "blurry" on the DX12 shortcut and not sure I'm running it 4K.

I clicked the "Download" button and it downloaded perfectly on my system with an ad blocker. I tried it on a standard Windows 10 install (no blocker) and had a few fake download-button adverts to avoid, and a new page for a betting site opened when I clicked the real download button. Closed the advert page, clicked the download button again and it happily downloaded this time.

Solution - install an ad-blocker, or hover over the download buttons to find the one that doesn't have an advert link, then persistence when you've found the right button. :)

Press the ` button to open the console, then type setres followed by a space then the resolution you want, so you'd be after:
setres 3840x2160
I presume.

I needed to do that to get it to 1920x1080, then Alt+Return to get it fullscreen on the machine I'm testing Win10 on.

EDIT - just found what happens you press 1 (on the top row of the keyboard) - pretty! :) And found C does things too, as does left CTRL.

Are you sure it runs in DirectX12 because in the log it recognises my GPU as DX11 and mentions DX11 couple of times ?

This runs sweet as a nut and looks very nice on a 780 in dx11, I just can't be bothered installing win 10 until some games are out that I am interested in.

Is there much difference between dx11 and dx12?

I can run this tech demo in DX 11 but my card pretty much "destroy" it. Got min 8x to max 11x fps in FHD resolution. i used only 3rd person view.
