What's it going to be used for? Asking because you might be able to save a bit of money by getting an i5 2500K instead..

Do you have a ssd drive for the OS?

And the bluray drive should be retail not oem so you get some playback software.

Gaming/Editing/Movies and no i don't have an ssd drive can you recommend one?

So what do you think?

You could save £66 by getting an i5-2500K. You only want an i7-2600K if you use software which takes advantage of the hyperthreading, i.e. not games.

You could save £48 on the RAM by getting the Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB. Low latency RAM offers little performance benefit for Sandy Bridge, see here.

You could save £55 on the motherboard by getting the Asrock Z68 Extreme7 Gen3.

Or you could save £130 on the motherboard by getting the Asrock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 if you don't need the NF200 chip.

You could also buy a cheaper PSU unless you plan on going for SLI or want to keep it for later upgrades.

This gives you a tidy sum to spend on an SSD.
