Building a PC for a mate and have come up with the below. Things to note:

- I have a 770 that I'll be putting in for him just to get him started. Granted it's a bit underwhelming for this build but at least if he doesn't enjoy PC gaming I've saved him a couple hundred in not buying a new GPU. Equally if he gets into it he could always get a 1070 later.

- Already have a headset for him

- I note the screen has AMD's sync technology, but I've chosen it for its 75hz over 60hz.

Is there anything I've obviously missed? Or anything I should change up?

Will be buying at 12:30 today when I see him.

Thanks all

Good spot on the bundle! I'll be seeing him shortly so I'll think about squeezing in 16gb of ram in.

In terms of the PSU being rubbish.. Is there a reason for that? I was always under the impression of having a good amount of amps on a single rail is a sign of a good PSU, and multiple rails of lower amps is bad?

The psu is fine, besides there are better ones than Antec on the market and cheaper too.

It is not something I would put with an unlocked cpu and potentially a GTX 1070.

The Antec is a solid unit based on the Seasonic G and is far better quality.

The XFX TS is a bit cheaper and is still better than the W1.
