now, anyone used the BFG psu? or would the tagen / enermax be better.

also is there anything you would change? gonna be running on a single 74gb raptor as main drive, and a few backup drives

this will be my last upgrade for a long time, so i wanna get it right, moving out of parents house in feb, so will have no cash

dont forget a custom cooler for that cpu

If you're not gonna overclock then the stock CPU is fine, but otherwise i'd say Scythe ninja, tuniq tower or freezer 7

I would suggest an Enermax Galaxy 850W instead of the BFG. BFG units are made by Topower, who doesn't really have a good track record on anything over 500W.....
