A server for the office;

-Abit AW9D Intel 975X (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (£119.84)
-Intel Core 2 DUO E6400 "LGA775 Allendale" 2.13GHz (1066FSB) - Retail (£152.74)
-Antec Solo Quiet Mini Tower Case - No PSU (£57.56)
-GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC)

The rest of the components are coming from a donar server, this server mybe OC'd - hence the RAM

EDIT, forgot the CPU cooler; CNPS7700-CU

Personally I would go for something that was actually designed for a server such as the xeon or opteron rather than a bodged up desktop acting as a server. Just my opinion though.

its just for development work on SQL 2005 - should be ok

Any reason for that mobo in particular? The Asus P5N-E looks to be a great board and cheaper

If its 975 Chipset then yeah I'll go for it, but if its NVidia then its a no go

Its the Nvidia 650 chipset.
