I am quite confident in the component choices for this build, but I would like some feedback just to make sure.

Case: Antec DF85
Mobo: Asus P8P67 Deluxe
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz dual channel
CPU: i5 2500K
Cooler: Prolimatech Megahalems Rev B with 1x 120mm Akasa Viper fan
Graphics: 2x Sapphire ATI 6950 2GB - xfire
PSU: Corsair Enthusiast Series 850W

HDDs, OS and optical drive are already accounted for.

The plan was to get the best gaming performance with enough performance elsewhere for the usual for under £1200, the components above come to a total of £1148. The PSU might be slightly overkill but it leaves enough overhead for overclocks on the CPU and graphics cards with plenty to spare for a bunch of HDDs. I also made sure that there will be clearance between the two graphics cards and the case certainly provides more than enough airflow though it has more outflow than inflow... The side hole for the optional fan will suck some extra air into the gpu area which can't be a bad thing but there is no dust filter there, oh well.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

- Always get low profile memory with air coolers, unless you are 100% sure they qill fit underneath. For that, you have the Vengeance Low Profile, Corsair XMS, Kingston HyperX, Crucial Ballistics.

- For the price of the P8P67 Deluxe, I would get a Asrock Z68 Gen3.

- As for airflow, Positive versus negative pressure... Don't know for sure, but something to read about.

took olivier's suggestions on board along with some of my own:

2 x MSI GeForce GTX 570 OC Twin FrozR III Power Edition 1280MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £259.99 (£519.98)
1 x Asrock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £169.98
1 x Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail £159.98

1 x Thermalright Silver Arrow CPU Cooler (Socket LGA1366/LGA1155/LGA1156/LGA775/AM2/AM3) £50.99
Total : £1,178.50 (includes shipping: FREE).

graphics cards changed to twin frozr GTX 570's: when unlocked the toxic will be about even with the 570, except on the games that either brand of card prefers. however, the 570's superior cooler will allow it to be overclocked far higher than the toxic, making it worth the money in my opinion. however if you prefer AMD over Nvidia then the toxic is the card to go for

changed cooler to save a bit of the money i spent on the 570's. also, im not 100% sure of the performance of the megahelms, but im 100% sure the silver arrow is very good (equal to the NH-D14)

changed the PSU simply because it was more energy efficient. it'll probably save more than the £10 extra it cost on the electric bill after a while

changed the RAM so that it didnt block the cooler

Saved you loads of money.

You can save more by getting a Gelid tranquillo or Corsair A50 air cooler for around £25.
