This is going to be used to cool a linux terminal. Its only for show, no performance needed tbh.

Case is a CM101 with a 120mm blow hole at the top. Will this fit together and work?

and still dial-in for help? what's wrong with you?

patience is not a virtue I have my friend.

I've geeked water cooling 3 years ago in this same case so I know what I'm doing planning and setup wise.

fingers crossed

you should still be ok with what you have, ideally if you could sell your rad and block, and go for the suggested? anyway, best of luck.

A £50 block for a £40 cpu? This need to cool a ten watt load and I'm not bothered about performance per se. Anything will do. Having said that I've just wasted 130quid to cool 10 watts so logic is clearly not the way forward lol

dear god man, logic doesn't apply here!!

what are you thinking? cooler = better, end of.

the case was cut up years ago by someone on this forum for H20, I bought it from him to do it justice but ended up with some half arsed attempt at h20.

that then was hard to maintain and leaked a few months later. I actually had water in there as well so was lucky not to break my pc lol.

3 years on, the time has arrived for pro-ness again. This case deserves it tbh. Finally have money to waste on it

sounds harsh, bruv. 3 years on - I've no doubt you can do something really sweet and tasty. enjoy, budness, may your gods... blah blah blah etc. :D

yup. looks very nice. how's about some numbers/temps/etc/?

Thats the 3 year old attempt.

Atm I get about temps in the low 30s with a AC7 on a E2160 at stock (can't OC as G33 chipset doesn't have any memory dividers less than 1.6 for 800fsb procesors)

I doubt W/C will beat that though. I doubt it will be quieter as well but oh well...
