Just got my bill and discovered BT had sneaked on a £25 Broadband cancellation fee despite the fact that when I left several months ago I was out of contract, requested a MAC address and transfered to another supplier. Had to speak to three different people before they finally agreed it was out of order and refunded it. I hate to think how many people have paid rubbish like this wothout realising.

Aye, BT are morons in my opinion. Had to sort out line rental for my phone with them and asked about the 18month contract special offer they had going that meant no connection charge. Was all sorted over the phone, got a bill at the weekend which included the £122 connection charge, had to spend 15 minutes on the phone to them to get it sorted.

I have just paid my final 3 months in a advance for BT Broadband and shall be telling them to shove it up their starfish shortly after just finding out that Sky can provide me with around 12mb/s unlimited for £10pm.
I am on Option 3 and still get throttled many evenings even though I should not be.

aye sky are brilliant as long as ur on their LLU package... Im a very heavy torrent user and could max out the sky line for a good portion while the computer was on 24/7 and never had any complaints or thorttling from sky
