then it must be 32/32, i think 32/45 is fully loaded car someone correct me if im wrong.
On a 1.6 Zetec S it's 30 psi front 29 psi rear should say on the owners manual somewhere anyway.

The Haynes manual doesn't list tyre pressures for 195, but it has 2 bars (29psi) for 185 with 15" wheels which I think is a bit low.

I have the speedlines from the 1.9 GTi on mine and I put 32psi all round. 31psi during this sort of weather for a bit more grip...

Check your nuts ladies and gents...

Went out for a quick drive this afternoon and after a while I noticed that something just didn't feel quite right.

Going down a straight road wiggling the steering left and right slowly I could feel the rear end moving around more than it should do!

So I drove it home steadily and low and behold, the wheel nuts on the rear offside where a bit loose. No idea how they became that way as the rest of the nuts on all the other wheels where on nice and tight.

So before you go out tonight or whatever, check your nuts and while your at it check and adjust if necessary your tyre pressures too. :)

rofl nice one

Over a year ago when my Mum had her CLK she was driving back from London to the Midlands when one of her rear wheels came off the car whilst she was in the outside lane of the motorway!

Luckily she managed to keep control of the car and get across onto the hard shoulder.

The Police attended and it turns out that there was only one nut left on the rear wheel that had snapped and as some of you may have guessed it was the locking nut. It seems someone had attempted to steal the alloys whilst the car was parked over night in London and had either taken all the nuts out and had got stuck on the locking nut or was interupted before they could defeat the locking nut leaving the car in a dangerous state!

Whilst I check the condition of my tyres, psi and state of my alloys I can't say I check all the nuts everytime I get in it.

Sorted mine this morning at Tesco, 35 front 36 rear.

:)

Edit- actually I think I set them to 36 all round :\
