checkboard 7970

Recently, after trying the 12.4 beta and now the 12.4 full release. Ive noticed a slight flicker in SWTOR and in heaven. A black and white checkboard flicks in a section of the screen. I happens so fast sometimes its hard to see. It doesnt cover the full screen, it only happens in small sections. its not often, but its there.

The card is not overclocked past the factory settings.

XFX 7970 black edition.

Im getting a little worried that its the card and not the drivers as i thought its maybe the 12.4 beta, but now its carried over to the full released 12.4 drivers.

When i get time, I will test previous drivers, at the moment im abit pressed for time due to looking after my son.

Does it sound like the card, or driver?

The XFX 7970 Black is a factory overclocked card isn't it? it might be an unstable overclock if so...

Vendors just seem to be blindly overclocking them and hoping for the best.

Does it do it if you run reference speeds?
