What basic checks would you do when receiving a new IPS monitor?
It’s been mentioned on here that monitors can vary slightly in quality from one to another even within the same make/model.
Obvious there is the possibility of dead/stuck pixels, most won’t have them, some will - I’ve seen simple online tools to check for those.
But what else do you look out for, using simple checks that anyone can do at home, not with fancy calibration tools.
I’m specifically talking about IPS - are there bad properties I should check for?
