Does anyone know a suitable site or bit of software that can (be trusted not to steal and) check a windows 7 key to tell me which version it is for?
The key seems to be valid but I can't do a windows "upgrade to a newer version" upgrade (from pro) using the key. I originally suspected it was a 64 bit ultimate but it might well be a 64 bit pro. I don't want to have to go through several install/activates to get it right though.
