Hi,
I just installed windows 8 and all I want to do is update it to 10. I can't because it stucks on checking for updates. I saw clips on youtube where people stop windows update service, delete folders, dwonload microsoft tools to fix it but I still can't download this damn updates. Any ideas?

I just updated to 10 so what are you talking about guys? The only problem I have now, system is freezing because my mobo doesnt like this lame system. It even doesnt have drivers for 10.

Nothing wrong with 10.

Generally you don't need mobo drivers from the maker's site, everything is in the chipset maker's driver, be it AMD or Intel. Unless it's so old that even they have binned it.

A bit more information about your system setup would be better to deal with.

If I was you I would format the system right back to the beginning. By the time you wrote the thread and waited for the replies you could have had a system boot disk created, data backed up, the HDD formatted and a fresh clean system that works.
