Checking my new spec

So i'm looking at buying new parts for my computer, i'm keeping my hard drives, disk drives, cooling and case.

I'm looking at these:

Processor: Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail

Mobo: Gigabyte GA_965P_DS4 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

RAM: GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC)

Graphics card: BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC 640MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail


What kind of gaming and general performance am i looking at? Good? Thanks for any help you can offer.

I'd change the motherboard to an ASUS P5N-E or the ds3, and save yourself £20, but other than that you've got yourself a very nice PC.

with some OC you will have a high end gaming rig

Get a scythe ninja or tuniq tower to cool that CPU. That + hai's comments you'll have a great rig.
