Hi
I'm new to overclocking. Having picked up the 3770k, I thought I would try n overclock it.
I have it at 4.2GHz stable. Temps at default vcore maxing out 76oC when running Prime.
I have brought the vcore down using the offset method, under load at the moment it is drawing 1.164-1.176v (-0.060v off). When I had it at -0.070v, 2 of the prime workers failed within a couple of minutes.
How long does it take before you can say ''yes, this overclock and voltage setting is stable" ?
I know I would need to run Prime over night or something, but like, if it hasn't failed after 30minutes, is that a good sign?
Thanks
