Hi chaps,

lol, been jumping around to nearly all the hardware threads making sure everything fits in this mITX im building. :D

Power supply this time, buying a Bitfenix Prodigy mITX cube case (if you haven't read my other threads :) ) and just need to check which power supply will fit. Was looking to get 600w, modular / semi modular round about 60 - 70 quid mark. I found this one:

Corsair Builder Series CX 600w Modular '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-117-CS&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=2463

Specs of the case state 'PSU cage depth 180mm, max PSU depth 160mm' but this PSU doesn't list its dimensions.

Will this fit and is this PSU even any good?

Cheers

I wouldn't have gone for that psu when you could have had a gold rated Superflower or Antec Trupower classic for the same price or less. They are not modular but at least they are high quality units unlike the CX which has cheap internals.

It's dimensions are 150mm x 86 mm x 140mm (WxHxD).

Hi mate, cheers for you help... to be honest if this PC was for me I wouldn't of gone for it (rockin the AX1200 myself) but my mate understood its slightly lower quality compared to the Gold ratings... and also to be fair this PSU does seem to be getting very good reviews so maybe not that bad.

Well, I guess we will find out how good it really is the hard way :)

Cheers anyway mate :D
