Checking WiFi connection Speeds

How do I check the connection speed of my iphone4 to my N router; I can't see a setting where it tells me.

Now with my MacBook it's coming up with being connected at 130Mbps, now is it possible to make it got to 270 or is auto-negotiating? Speeds not really and issue on this as it maily used for web browsing and streaming and for any serious data transfer it gets plugged into my Gb Network

There is an web app called Speedtest.net but Im sure they have an Iphone app available, or they used to anyway

I'm not looking for a speedtest throught the net, just to the router, i.e. is it connecting at g or N speeds...
