Checking your credit score?

Has anyone ever done this?

What is the best company to use? I'm not sure my score is as good as it should be.

Also, I'm going to be getting my student loan soon and I'm quite interested in how paying off my debts will affect it.

Get a printed copy of your credit file from Experian, Equifax and Call Credit, think it's only about £2 each.

It won't show you your "credit score" as all companies use different criteria for scoring prior to dishing out credit but it'll highlight anything preventing you from getting credit in the first place.
