has any one got any experiance with these devices, i can create a vpn connection but cant seem to get a route to the other sites its driving me mad and if i try to manualy add a route it does not accept it.
its running an old firmware to 4.5 or somethign along them lines.

A quick couple of things;
4.5 is very old, current firmware is 8.x
If the VPN is up it should just route traffic to the remote network without the need for any additional routes be added to the device.

Honest opinion, if you have any sort of budget, bin it and replace it with a Juniper/Sonicwall/Cisco ASA whichever you feel most comfortable configuring/maintaining that fits your budget.
