They're both half price at Tesco atm (350g). At least at my local Tesco - Though I assume it's a nationwide thing.

I went for Cathedral City, since it was 20p cheaper :D But I've never had Pilgrims Choice.

Which would be your preference?

I've always found Pilgrims Choice to be stronger than Cathedral City, so if you were not after something that was strong then out of the two I would say Cathedral City,

Cathedral City is mass produced rubbish in my opinion.

I like Cheddar from the Lake District Cheese company or from Wookey Hole.

Ummm, which melts better and doesn't crumble when you slice? Whichever of those matches that description then that one.

I rate Asdas coloured medium cheddar higher than them 2! It tastes much better than their mature. It has to be the coloured one though.

I tend to grab whatever (as long as it's not low fat etc.) is on offer as mostly it is grated and melted over meals or toasted in a sandwich so either for me. If I fancy something to nibble on then favourite of the moment is M&S Cornish Cruncher :)

Cathedral City can't be classed as cheese IMO. It's foul cheap crap. Pilgrims Choice Extra Mature is lovely.

Goes exceedingly well with some sliced strong pickled onions between two slices of whole meal. Wowzers!

Yep, no low fat stuff. It doesnt melt as well. Royal canadian mature cheddar is good as well, or some coleraine.
