Grated or sliced?

If on its own, then grated.

If with pickle/chutney etc, then I prefer it sliced.

If I'm having cheese on a sandwich I always have it grated finely and mixed with a bit of mayo.
Spreads easily on the bread then and tastes great.

If I can, then I add a couple of slices of home roasted ham and a smattering of Branston pickle as well
