Doesn't check finance though! I suppose they're alright if you're interested in a car, but I'd definitely get a full one before buying!

Can anyone recommend a company to get a HPI check done with? I can see there are quite a few with varying prices, I want the full report that checks everything (ideally I'd like to do 2 cars - my current car for any buyers and a car I'm going to look at) and a print out (not just a text saying everything is okay).

Just go to the HPI site - 3 reports for £30 is what I bought, you can pdf the output and keep it and it'll do the full range of checks. Update the vin once you've bought the car / have the v5 for their guarantee (no idea how good bad or otherwise said guarantee is).

RAC do one for £15.50 which is the same check as Experian IIRC. 3 for £25/30 off the top of my head?
