Cheeky garage sub contracting work?

I sent the Megane in to my usual garage for some maintenance work this morning.

I have two phones. I thought I accidentally left one in the car. I was about to call the garage and tell them to put the phone to the side in a safe place, but I figured "let me double check using the iPhone find my phone app to see if I have actually left my phone in the car".

Turns out my phone, which is in my car, is being driven from my usual garage, to another garage about 4 miles away.

Not sure how to feel about this.

What difference does it make as long as the work is done properly?
They may also just have used your car to go and pick up parts from the other garage.

You're probably correct, and I'm probably being overly paranoid. I've used my garage for 5 years and they haven't faulted me once. So I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

Depending on how busy they are they might sub contract work to a neighbour garage. The garage I worked at used to do it.

Mine do this because he doesn't have all the diagnostics etc apparently. Only 100m up the road the other garage so not too fussed

Taken it out for a run to make sure works ok depending what you've had done?

As it's OCUK though they've took your car to go poo through someones letter box.
