hi, thinking of up my cpu speed and hear the stock cooler is not to good at cooling when overclocking so will this be any good ?

Also you would want to make sure it fits in your case, as these coolers are quite big. You could probably drop down to a cheaper cooler depending on how much you plan to overclock too.
