Chelsea signed Shevchenko!!

RVN won't go for less than £10million. And it's not like AC Milan are poor, with the £35million just added to their bank balance. ;)

5 times last season I'll have you know;)
You've got to admit it's good for the PL though. Bringing in players like Ballack & Shevski means that all the other teams have to up the ante a bit if they want to compete. The PL was very close to becoming the SPL 'til we found a few quid:)

The problem is that nobody on the planet can compete with you at the moment and I can see the PL becoming housed at the Bridge for the duration of Roman's stay, purely based upon your massive financial clout.

Chelsea - Shevchenko
Arsenal - Henry
Man Utd - Rooney
Liverpool - Gerrard

Great for the Premier League.. I'm just worried fergie hasn't got his bottom in gear and signed anyone yet.
I hear Aguero has gone to Athletico... So that's Shev to Chelsea, Ruud to Milan, Torres to us :):)

I can dream can't i? :p

According to the Ukrainian FA it was only £24.5m

Also just a quick question to Johnny or any Chelsea fan, do you think it is JM buying these players of RA (like the reports have been saying) because im sure he said a while back that he didnt want any star players in his team and now he has signed 2 with the possibility of a 3rd with Roberto Carlos

AC Milan are not poor, but ManYoo have been crap in the transfer market in the last 5 years, they'll probably sell him for £8-12Million

No, much worse than that. Man Utd buy players at top whack prices and then sell them after they have had a whinge at by Fergie and are then sold on for about 50p.

How much did the club lose through the 'Beckham brand'?
Would have been more viable to keep him, pay his wages and have him sit on the bench every game.
Great idea  there is no way even David Beckham would have made more than £25m (if that was his fee) profit for Man Utd by sitting on the bench

Stam and Beckham were both sold for profit weren't they?

well Beckham was never bought, and he could have been sold for a lot more in other circumstances. Stam also could have been sold for more, or not sold at all.

what about this guy:

Thanks for the rolling eyes, really not needed but hey.

Put money on it he made a lot more than the figure you have in your head. Real Madrid proved this once they signed him and admitted this themselves.

Congratulations on another spending spree, shame you cant grow them from home like the Liverpool boys eh. ;)
Don't worry we're going to sign Bellamy  . But in all seriousness (is thats even a word  , looks wrong) im sure Rafa will pull something out of the bag. They signed Essien for £24m we signed Sissoko for £5.6m and who was the better player? Sissoko, let alone when you take into account the difference in price.
