Based on user accounts from a bunch of different locations it seems as though not all keyboards come with consistent blue switches. Namely, some users receive them with a small number not clicking properly, or not providing the same tactile feedback as the rest. It's hard to gauge how common an occurrence it is based on just the one group posting about the this issue, but I've been led to believe it's not as uncommon as one would hope.

As I'm looking at going for this switch type I'm curious if users here have encountered such issues, and if so is there any fix besides replacing it or voiding the warranty? I assume that if I were to receive a keyboard from OCUK with a problematic switch as described, this would be classed as 'faulty'?

Thanks.

My first Qpad MK80 from OcUK suffered with this, a handful of keys didn't make the same "click" as the rest and felt somewhat different, got it swapped out through OcUK with no issues. I can't see that any reputable retailer wouldn't class it as a fault to be honest so I can't imagine you'd have a problem getting a keyboard replaced for that reason.

I would have thought so too. I've been bitten in the past by some of OCUK's competitor's, so you never know. Ha!

In any case I've gone ahead and purchased the KB from here, so here's to hoping it's all good.

Thanks for the reply :)
