Am I right in believing these are quite loud? Not clicky loud like the blues but still more so than the linear red/black keys?

Have taken the plunge and ordered a K95 with reds as I need something fairly quiet, just hoping someone can assure me it was the right choice and that browns sound like a JCB knocking a brick wall down or something :D
 
It'll depend a bit keyboard to keyboard but browns aren't particularly quiet :D

If your looking for something fairly quiet mechanical keyboards may not be for you, reds are excellent keys however.
 
Aye, will see fairly quickly once I get it but I think o-rings will probably happen :)

Have a wee controller I made for some extra keys I could mount on a plate to be near the throttle controller for playing elite dangerous. Used cherry blacks and an ardunio, doesn't seem tooo loud but the surface they are mounted on isn't as big and is more flexible than a keyboard so will be dampening the sound a fair bit I'd guess. We'll see :)

Ive only ever used browns as the keyboard I have now is my first ever mech keyboard, they are louder than domed caps (like stated above) but I just added some o-rings to dampen the noise abit
 
i dont think browns are actually too loud, far quieter than blues, only a little louder than reds. the only time browns are loud is if you bottom out, which i dont generally do :D
