She's mine i tell you MINE, but after talking to her the other day i'm quite sure she has a BF :(

I fancy going up over the buxton roads, but that might be a little hardcore for some :p

Hardcore? Only if your a jessie that can't do corners. ;)

I went up there on the way home from my jaunt to scarborough on the bike. Alright for you car guys (amazing in fact) but not nice on a bike, at one point I was airbourne by about 2 foot!
cool now but at the time (and the tank slapper that ensued) it wasn't cool in the slightest. Hung on to it though, wish I'd got it on video! :D
There was a worrying ammount of resurfacing and random rocks in the middle of the road also. Again ok for you car guys, but I had to try and find some stone free lines!
I need to get a decent car again! bit more saving and finances will be sorted and I will be able to have the best of both worlds hopefully!

They are crazy roads much better than the MM route, tighter corners, blind crests, you can get air if you want, same sheep problem though!

Great minds think a-like They are excellent roads, not great for bikes though unless you are on a softish pace (why would I want to do that!) Great in a car though minus the sheep!

Er... Its like one of the most visited roads by bikers, some of them must think its good

The Cat & Fiddle > Macclesfield end of the road is twisty, but most definately smooth, and with long LONG visibility. The Cat & Fiddle > Buxton end of the road is far straighter.

I like the leek crossroads road up to buxton, its the road with the bend that's 180 degrees whilst going up a hill.

The one that has a junction off to the outside of the bend half-way around? Junction heads toward sutton?

That road is scary coming downhill (remember launching the VTR, landing and having to brake harder than ever before), not so bad going up.
