If you want more 'instant' chess, then you would need to d/l a client (winboard, or www.babaschess.net is excellent), then find your way to a chess server freechess.org (automatically connected to by babaschess).

Once there you can choose time limits like 1 minute/game, 10/game, or whatever to suit.

As long as you're OK with the game stretching out, I can handle it.

I used to play chess for my county, but haven't played in a while.
