Took a trip to chester zoo today with the kids.

Had a whale of a time with the S3 - love the continuos shooting mode on it.

Ended up with over 1500 pics, just sorting through them now and these caught my eye.

They're really great. Just goes to show you don't need a DSLR with a 100-400. However, the bokeh one of those shots is a bit ew :)

true, but can't have everything, but for a £300 camera i think it does quite well.

Just noticed the fish photo is from the Fuji F30 i bought as a pocket cam, and the 9 year old took that one! ISO1600 handheld - no flash.

just need to get PP'ing them now as these are all straight out of the camera with no tweaks what-so-ever.

Number 5 is superb, really like it! Nice shots, maybe some post processing would improve the colour, make them a little more vivid. As was said though, just goes to show you don't need an SLR for great results

Ta!

Dont really know where to start with the Post Processing - bit of a noob at that.

Any tips (Can post a link to the full size images if needed)

i did a couple a bit further up, let me know what you reckon, it might be a little overdone...

I like what you have done with the colours on the chameleon, if a little overdone, and you have added a bit of 'punch' to the parrot shot.

i really need to get my head around PP'ing instead of just doing 'Smart Photo Fix' on PSP10 :)
