iv been desperate for some greasy chinese for the last few month, and being a muslim its impossible to find a reliable, trustable place that does halal chinese. if people could recomened me a place that is known to be hala that would be great. i live in central london.

im sceptical anyone will find anywhere though and iv given up looking for a place so am now considering making my own. has anyone got a good thorough recipe? if anyones eaten at chopstix before, the egg fried chicken noodles they have is what im looking for.

thanks

Egg noodles, chopped chicken thigh, beansprouts, chopped spring onion, soy sauce, oil and sesame oil

Fry the chicken in a 50/50 mix of vegetable oil and sesame oil, plenty of it so it's nice and oily, add the spring onion, add the noodles, add the beansprouts, fry for a short while just to heat the beansprouts and season with light soy sauce.

Slurp up and get greasy ;)

Thats pretty much it, remember to whack your cooker onto its highest setting and get the wok really hot before you add anything.

oh, and if the egg noodles werent cooked already, youll need to boil them first, but i guess thats pretty obvious.

And dont forget the MSG, it adds that extra something, altho a bit of salt is ok.

Yup, one bloodthirsy guy jumps on the cow's back with a big kitchen knife and starts sawing away at its throat. Blood goes everywhere and he wrestles it to the ground while the others hack at it with meat cleavers.

Chicken is slightly different, the bird is held on a block by its feet so that it is free to struggle while a burly chap hacks away until he chops the head off. The bird is then allowed to run around without a head squirting blood out until it has bled to death.

That's what I was told anyway.

I go here, its great food although seating is minimal as its essentially a takeaway. It's Halal, and there is no Pork on the menu.
Recommend the soups and anything Kung Po.
