Do we get Chickens roaming the countryside/forests naturally in this country? I've never seen any.

Also, if we do, are you allowed to go and take one home for their eggs or a nice roast?

Only thought of this as we get plenty of "game" birds splattered on the roads near here but i've never seen a chicken trying to cross the road (ahem)

I've got images of someone running around a field with a net trying to catch a chicken. :o

Um, i haven't seen any wild chickens where i live and nor have i seen them anywhere else. They could have been hiding though...

Hens!!

Although...it's cheating...it's like saying "i'm eating a man tonight" rather than..."i'm eating a human tonight"

i think you mixed the two the wrong way round, like this it should be

Haha ok...i'm confused but i'll just accept it!

Chickens don't roam wild. If you do happen to see a chicken walking around, and you fancy stealing it, don't, as it would be chicknapping and an angry farmer with a shotgun will hunt you down.

You can eat pheasant, rabbit, badger fox etc as long as the person who's land you're on gives you permission to take them.

You eat women, not men. ;)

Depends if we're talking about eating the chicken or the egg...does it not...

Since hens are the female...yeah...?

Damn i just remembered a male chicken is a rooster...

A chicken is a the species in general...right?

Who knew chickens could be so complicated...

someone tried to tell me once that it's only a chicken when it's dead, a hen when it's alive and female or a cockrel when alive and male. I recon chicken just means male or female alive though.

Yeah...chicken is the species.

A rooster is a male chicken.
A hen is a female chicken.

:D

lol pretty sure you don't get wild chickens. Don't suppose they would last very long, I can't imagine a chicken having much of a chance of standing up to something like a fox. Maybe hundreds of years ago there was a chicken like creature that was wild, but I imagine it's quite different to modern chickens due to selective breeding.
