This question has popped up a lot recently, a few threads on it if you search.
Cracking cases, built like tanks, will not fall apart but very heavy.
Only 80mm fans, and maybe a 92mm if its the full tower, lots of room with removeable hard drive cages.
Great cases in there day, that has passed but they are still capeable of holding any system with any thermal requirements, however they are not the quietest of cases.
i had 1 was built to last! was a really nice design and did its job great i just needed a smaller case reason why i changed. moving that from 1 lan to anther killed
Second hand they might be worth getting cheap, but new you'd probably be better getting something more modern for your main rig.
I have a Dragon Mid-Tower with the parts below (and nice it is too) but it's a rather loud 65 db. 5x80mm fans are very noisy. 120mm fans are popular for a reason.
A lot of the Antec cases are similar to the Dragon, but offer 120mm fans, so they might be worth taking a look at. (SLK 3xxxx range etc, quite like the P160 myself, similar inside to a Dragon, but better. outside too )
And theres always the old favourites if you want to look at something else; the CM Stacker, the Akasa Eclipse and (nearly) anything Lian Li.
Edit: As i've often complained, i think i'm the only person in the world with a damaged Dragon... and the dents/bends were soon sorted with a small hammer and a few rivets a Tank indeed.
I've got a dragon mid tower, the airflow is reasonable but if you want to do a bit of modding you can get 120mm intakes and 92mm exhaust's quite easily. As yewen has said built like tanks
I was going to say... my dad had a V5 5500, and there was no way it was that length.
I currently have an Antec Plusview 1000AMG. It must be 4 years old now and still rocking It's a bit tatty here and there but my god, can it hold a lot of kit!
I've got an Antec plusview, based on the same design and very similar to the Chieftec Dragon.
The reason I bought it was for all the space inside. I actually changed from a smaller case which had poor airflow which caused temperature problems during summer.
The build quality is superb and I can't recommend it highly enough. I'd say there is still plenty of life left in this design if you ask me
