I currently use the above case to house my PC parts
I'm getting slightly annoyed at the noise i get from the fans installed in my system
currently i have 2x 120mm antec's running at RPM both attached to zalman fan mate's
and three 92mm antec tri speed's at lowest setting running @1200rpm
the placement of the fans currently are the 2x120mm at the rear one below and one above the PSU both exhaust fan's
2 of the 92mm's installed in the side panel drawing air into case
and the last 92mm fan drawing air into case from front (which is located under the lower mesh)
All fans have silicone gaskets as well as silicone securings instead of screws to try and minimize noise from vibration.
HSF is a Zalman 9500 cnps nt cooler at lowest setting of 1350 Rpm
Power is handled by a Silvestone Strider 750 which should be almost silent
I clean the system out every 4-6 weeks yet the noise is there and can be heard even over the TV which sits less than 2 feet away from tower.
I've been looking at sound proofing kit's from acousti i was wondering would this do the trick and reduce the noise to all but addable
