Do you remember Quattro?

It was a popular fizzy drink in the early 80s that was killed off. I really liked it.

Well, I just bought this:

And it tastes almost exactly like I remember Quattro tasting.

I loved it, but it could strip the enamel off your teeth, and the sugar content
Lilt was another favourite back in the day, for the same reason.

Just speculating but maybe it was meant to be an evolution of Lilt which was released earlier,
but the concept and marketing of Quatro failed to some extent and deemed not worth the valuable shelf space.
A quick look online shows it may still be sold in South America or other regions.

I seem to remember it being scalding hot, which was nice after an unheated swimming pool and a mouthful of chlorine.

It still exists. Sort of.

It's been rebranded as Fanta Pineapple & Grapefruit. They use the tagline "Same Totally Tropical Taste". I've tried it and they're not wrong, it is Lilt.

My favourite that’s now pretty much gone was Sunkist. It was different league to Fanta and Tango.
