Hi there I've been setting up a little network for the kids in my nursery to work and I'm looking for a way to make their usage of the internet "safe"

Previously we had a password that was required whenever you wanted to go to a website, it came as a popup and unless you gave in the password you didn't go anywhere. The pc it was on died a painful death :( and my norton services expired, I think that was what allowed me to password protect the sites.

I'm currently running on firefox and I'm looking for an addon that'd do the job though any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'd ideally like to avoid norton and mcafee this time round.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, it seems it's too early for my brain to function enough to recognise google as an option :D

k9 looks decent, I'll give it a shot.

The more the government trys to block web sites, the more people will find ways around it. We are already at risk of a broken/split DNS system, can you imagine if the same happened to the internet itself (Split into 1 or more networks). All this ballache so those in power can say "We are thinking of the children" :(
