Childhood Toys

Ok so random question. A few of my friends and I got talking about childhood toys last night and I had an amazing one that I couldn't remember the name of.

It was like these huge Star Destroyer kind of thing, like the ones of Star Wars, and the lid came off and it was filled with little spaceships and men down the sides of the big spaceship.

Anyone know what I'm on about? Anyone know what it's called? It's really buggin me.

Anyone else got an amazing toys from their childhood?

Not sure if it's the thing you're talking about, but I used to love Action Force when I was young back in the early 80's!

It was the smaller figures, the same size as the old Star Wars figures. I think they were called Action Force in Europe, but maybe GI Joe in the US.

I remember those, but I had the enemy space ship. It was red, and you could pull little vehicles out of the wings.

I used to like Pocketeers.

My friend had a brilliant one which was like an assault course that you had to get a ball baring through. Lots of ramps and stuff. I loved it.

Think I know what you mean. Were the little ships various colours like red, blue and green?

I remember a big space ship with the lid coming off and little ships inside. Could be the same thing.

Yeah I think they were different colours. The star destroyer thingy was grey and had a red back where all the rockets were. It had the bridge just like the star destroyer but it was like a handle. Still can't remember what it is called

it has to be manta force and red venom. I'd completely forgotten about them till I read the description. I remember how everything went everywhere when you tried to put the lid back on the manta force.
