Iggy Pop - The Passanger
The Stranglers - Golden Brown

And yes, it's comming from a 17 year old! :o
The Passenger... 17yr old... :)
Here's something I used to chill to in a time when I was near your age. New Age of Earth by Ash Ra Tempel (later know as Ashra).

Also, Smoker's Delight and Carboot Soul by Nightmares on Wax manage to chill me.

Depending on your views of chillout:

Massive Attack
Boards of Canada
Both of those two are quality... Check out Aphex Twin's selected ambient works series... stunning and I cannot believe the first one has song on it that are over 20 years old.

Pretty much anything by Jean Michelle Jarre,
A lot of PinkFloyd (Dark Side of the Moon and Wish you were Here are especially good imo)
Moby's music is pretty chilled out to.
Personally I also find Mark Knopfler's solo albums very relaxing (Overall his stuff with Dire Straits was better, but not as relaxing - of the albums I've listened to atleast)
