Chilly yet hot?

According to Core Temp and Intel TAT my E6700 temp is at like 52 to 60 C idle. That a bit to hot me thinks, is it?

At LMAO at the System temp that SpeedFan says. -65C :cool:

What CPU cooler are you using, bear in mind TAT reads directly off the die I believe.

It does sound too hot.

Yes, that's quite worrying warm - not from a damage point of view - the CPU will shut down if it gets too hot, but it will almost certainly be throttling after running at 100% utilization for any period of time and therefore giving you poor performance.

Dont think ill need to do that now w3bbo.

By the way it only does that temp for like a split second. Took me 20 odd attemps to get it. Then it goes to the correct one.
