Man of Honour
So as its the middle of the apocalypse here in the south our roof has decided to spring a leak.
The emergency home assistance thing we have seems to be totally worthless, and every roofer in the area is booked out for the next two weeks so i'm left trying to work out how to stop more of our bedroom (which sits under said leak) getting wetter. I have a temporary system of buckets, cling film etc setup to harvest the rainwater (collected about 5pints so far) but its not stopping everything
I think the biggest problem to DIYing this will be access:
The area of the leak is the highest point, ie the back of the front chimney, so using a roof latter hooked over the ridge is a no-go due to the chimney being on the hipped end...
Anyone got any bright ideas?
