lol

copyright violation anyone?

Even if we assumed for a second that it was a knock-off pretending to be Google (I'm pretty sure Maccy is right and it is simply Google itself) then it's only a copyright violation if Google's copyright is recognised in China. I'm not at all certain whether it is or is not, I do however know that China's intellectual property laws are somewhat lagging behind those of Europe and America. They are catching up but they've started from a long way behind in this regard.

Um, what? It's just google in chinese? Maybe some copyright problems though...

A Shanzhai version of Google.com has just been created and launched in China, introducing www.goojje.com. It is not a joke, this website is to compete with the world’s number one search engine, it is also said to be a gesture to press Google to stay in China. The appearance of the website is almost identical to Google.com. “Google” is turned into Goojje, and in Chinese, 谷歌 became 谷姐. (姐:jie means “Sister” in Chinese.) The slogan under the logo reads “Brother’s stay is for sister, brother is still obsessed with sister.”

its chinese lol.

If this was the chinese gov, then tbh, i wish our government was able to copey cat other costly things and provide them to us at a lower rate.

I for one would approve a british government iphone, which was more or less the same, but like £114.
