What did happen exactly? America is still the dominant power in the world, especially militarily. Their military expenditure far exceeds that of any other country, and of many countries combined.

China is no worse than many other countries in the world, although of course I agree that it's immoral to supply arms that help to fuel genocide.

You could say that. Or you could look at it from the point of view of China, which is that it needs to provide for the 1.2 billion people who live in the country. Could it not be considered 'immoral' to keep your own people living in poor conditions? Because basically that is the truth of the matter. The Chinese, like everyone else, is in a battle for resources.

Well lets see.
England did rule most of the world for a time.
Then we let America have a go and see what they have done.
About time we had somebody else in the hot seat for a bit - remember they are only keeping it warm for England anyway :-p

I does make me laugh how the self righteous can sit at home living in a rich stable country that did basically the same things to get to where it is now and happily taking the benefits.

Yes it is terrible without a doubt but its basically how most rich first world nations got to the positions they are in today.

There aint a country in the world, America included that could pull china into line. If it happens it would be nuclear because they couldn't fight the chinese army. If 3 Americans got killed there would be calls back home for the army to be withdrawn. If a million Chinese got killed they would just keep sending more.

Not only that there is a china town every square meter in America, they would be taken down from within

dont mess with 1/6 of the worlds population... should u do so, prepare for a kicking... ever watch starship troopers? that's what numbers can do even when faced with technological superiority.... you'll run out of bullets before they run out of cannon fodder, then they will just bayonet you....
