Chinese Buffet - Northampton - Recommendations

Hi,

I am planning on taking some clients out for lunch in Northampton and the common consensus is leaning towards a chinese buffet.

I have discovered that there are a number of ones within Northampton but unfortunately there does not seem to be any reviews for them.

Could anyone recommend a place?

I live in Northampton, the best all you can eat Chinese Buffet is the Wok Inn Sheep Street.

Its not quite the same, where you walk up to a buffet and help yourself they bring out the food in courses but you can always ask for more…... Maxi Buffet was ok ish. The food wasn’t too bad, to be honest I’ve not been all that keen on the walk up and help yourself Chinese buffets in Northampton, it’s a bit hit n miss.

Shame you can't travel to Milton Keynes - Taipan is fantastic (although not a buffet)

From what i've heard, Aroma at Sol Central is awful.

Aroma wasn't bad when I went there. Just stay away from the teppanyaki.

Yeah Aroma is quite good, the service is always pretty good in those kide of places too.

Aroma at Sol Central is not as good as it coud be though, its always busy looking but when I've been there its been a bit poor....

The crispy pancake duck last time was very dry. I needed to order another drink to help it down, and the chopsticks are funny.....

They never snap into two sticks cleanly..... lol

Maybe it's not as bad as my colleagues say! I'll give it a go one evening - problem is dragging myself away from the Red Lion @ Brayfield - I've been there roughly once a week for the past 6 months! The food there has come along leaps and bounds, only problem is it's getting so busy nowadays.
