Chip Shops

So i went to a Chipy last night,

a new one suggested by a friend to be pretty good.

Got served and saw a sign saying

"If you want to choose your fish, a charge of 30p will be made."

I just though WTF, has anyone else encountered this?

ill try and get some photographic evidence so you know im not talking Carp and making fins up

it was actually on of those Fish and chip shops run by chinese people.
