Staying near there this weekend and apart from laying out David Cameron if I see them, can anyone recommend a good family friendly pub for two families with kids? From what I can see, the pubs are either too upmarket for kids, or look like I might get beaten up by a local farmer.

TIA

Don't overthink it, it's just a pub lunch. Also, character building for your children when daddy gets sparked clean out.

Very true.

Also Jeremy Clarkson. You could actually visit his farm shop.

Add him to the list of potential punching people.

Better off going to Bourton on the Water and having a chippy T.

Like this idea, one for Friday evening mrthinks.

Just bite the bullet and goto Hook Norton Brewery, restaurant there as well

Now this is an excellent idea. 3 miles walk so very doable and avoids actual Chipping Norton! Going to put this out to the group, cheers.

*edit* Lunch booked @ brewery for Sunday :)

Not a bad walk and a good spot for lunch and a couple of pints so cheers! Went to the Pear Tree Inn on the walk home for one as well.

Unfortunately did not see DC when I went for lunch in Chipping Norton, though the lunch we had at The Fox was also very good. Great Co-Op as well.
