Hi,
I get to buy the parts for our companys' new computers, and wanted some advice.
Im about to spend ~£1000 on a PC [exc monitors] , and in the past have bought p35 chipset MB's [a mix of Asus P5k and Abit IP-35]... Would I see a noticeable improvement in performance with a X48 for example?
I have a fixed budget, so more £ on the MB means less £ for other components :(
But ultimately, my knowledge of the different chip-sets isn't so great.

Any advice greatly recieved :)

Chris.

There is no real advantage over x48 over p35 apart from 2 x16 pci-e slots for crossfire and are supposedly more overclockable. I dont suppose thats something that bothers you with work computers so i would get a p35 mobo.
