Chipset Driver Problem

I fired up my new build last night for the first time and all hardware appears to be OK. I installed Windows7 64 bit and once that was completed went on to install drivers starting with chipset drivers. I obtained these chipset drivers from the Asus site. For some reason after running through the install at the end it says that the installation wasn’t completely sucessful. On checking device manager there is one warning for the Intel ICH10R southbridge chip. I cannot get any drivers to install to remove this. I have now tried the drivers on the disk provided, release 14 and release 19 off of the Asus site.

My specs are as follows:

Asus Rampage II Extreme
I7 930 bloomfield
OCZ 180gb Vertex SSD
6gb Corsair tri channel memory

Any ideas why this wont install? Would I be better off sourcing the chipset drivers from the Intel site? Would BIOS version effect this? I haven't actually checked what version my BIOS is yet.

Is there anyway to totally remove the existing chipset drivers from my system?

Cheers
