OK, i just noticed mine has stopped

Anyone know of a fan that will fit this and will allow my gfx card to clear it?
The stock one only just has the clearance so it needs to be similar or not as spread out.

suggestions please ? :)

Evercool vc-re is the most popular choice for that board on dfi forums and works very well ..have one on this ds3 also doing a great job.

If its like for like you want then the VC-RE is the best choice. The Vantec Iceberg is ok too but it seems OCUK don't stock it any more. Personally i took the opportunity to get a passive cooler for my Ultra-D and got one of these

If you put the graphics card in the other slot you'll have plenty of room to stick a zalman passive heatsink on :)

EDIT: Ooh, not seen that thermaltake heatsink before - very nice!

You just missed out, I sold my Jing Ting cooler last week that I used to have on my old Ultra D. Was a great cooler, pretty much silent and worked so much better than the stock one. If you can source one of these, they are great! I had to order mine from US though, still only cost me about £20 in total so not too bad. :)

Think i might have to go for something low profile and active like the standard cooler. I have and SLI DR and a GX2 and as you can see i'm limited on space. Does anyone think the HR-05 SLI cooler from Thermalright will fit?

I don't think so! The Jing Ting sounds like a good alternative!!!
