CHKDSK disk error??

Hey guys, I'm a bit of a n00b with computers lol and was wondering if you could help me...

I've got a new laptop, only bout 4 months old and this week it has randomly shut itself down a few times. After the 1st time it did it, It restarted fine but now everytime its starts up it runs the CHKDSK check or something then starts up fine again!

Why would it do this and is there any thing I should be concerned about ?

when i try doing ^ it gets as far as saying c: is dirty then this happens when i try the next step :

???

yeah i did this and still doing the exact same thing! still saying its dirty :S
